Competiton No 10 April 2011
Once again the weather wasn't the best for our Fishing Competition No 10 held at the weekend. It seems that just lately every weekend that the competition is scheduled the weather Gods are against us and there are big seas, rain  or wind hampering the fisho's.

This last weekend was no exception. Nevertheless we still had 18 nominations to fish and brave the conditions. Penny and Paul Gray managed to fish the Rocks for a big catch of Salmon. Those who fished the beaches had good catches of Tailor, Salmon & Bream. There were a few who managed to fish Deep Sea on the Sunday morning but had to stay in close and came in with Bonito and Flathead.

Winners for Competition No 10 are as follows:
Winners
Juniors Ryan Pye
Beach Barry Preston
Rock Paul Gray
Estuary Josh Preston
Deep Sea John Burns
Ladies Penny Gray.

Runners-up
Juniors Mitchel Preston
Beach Daniel Wilton
Estuary Ray Smith
Deep Sea Ian Pye

At the fisho's weekend away there were roughly 20 people in attendance who all seemed to have a good time despite the inclement weather. The camp manager Peter Contino had the entertainment all under control.

With only 2 competitions remaining for this fishing year, there are still quite a number of points to be acquired and trophies up for grabs.

Competition No 11 for our club will be held on 14th & 15th of May 2011 with the Furbish of the Month being Salmon.

Until next competition Good Fishing
