Results – Worrigee 8/3/15


An early start on a fine and warm, but cloudy day resulted in some very good scoring by the Ex-Servo’s Social Golf players at Worrigee on Sunday 8th March. Dave Suffolk and Keith Muller led the way with 45 points, with Dave winning on a countback. Glenn Summerfield played a very consistent round to score 43 points for third place.

Peter Done and Barry Wright missed the podium despite breaking their handicaps, but took home the prizes for Front 9 and Back 9 respectively.

Other handicap breakers on the day were: Jenniffer Goodall, Luke Bowden, Charlie Hawkins and Gary de Banke.

New member, Ricky May took home the Moto Parts on The Move voucher for his nearest the pin on the 17th and Captain Kirk will be resplendent in some new clothes after taking home the Stanley Johns Menswear voucher for his drive and pitch on the 15th.

Other ball winners on the day were: Peter Done NTP 12th, Luke Bowden NTP 6th and the 8th, Jenniffer Goodall ladies longest drive, Captain Kirk A-Grade men’s longest drive, Charlie Hawkins B-Grade men’s longest drive.

Bob Pender’s birdie on the 6th which scored him 5 points for the hole wasn’t enough to get amongst the winners.

Both Phil Rimmer (14th hole) and Gary de Banke (9th hole) left their putters in the bag after chipping in from off the green.
