Today we played a Single Stableford event with 78 starters. It was also the first round of the Lee/Wellard Shield that is played annually between ourselves and Shoalhaven Heads. Today saw Ex Servos come out in front by 34 points. Probably not enough when we play the return at the Heads later in the year.Even though the course was a little damp from recent rain many players still managed to play to their handicaps. Well done all. We also welcome back Captain Alf who has been celebrating a major mile stone birthday in Hawaii. Winner on the day was Terry Moylan with 40 points followed by Chris Hoffman on 39 and Curt Moy on 38. Balls went down to 35. Nearest the pin winners were Mick Liddy 422 cm, Keith Muller 700 cm, Brian Herring 253 cm, Rocket Elliott 310 cm and Bernie Schipp 225 cm.
