Solomon Motors Single Stableford Saturday 28th May.

Marie would sure be proud of him.The “Doodelly Do” man from Culburra Billy Gatt was too good for us all last Saturday winning the day by 2 strokes with a solid 43 pts.I mentioned his wife Marie who does it tough putting up with his antics but as we know “for better or for worse”He recently asked her down to the Club for lunch after Golf one Saturday ,however a sausage on a bread roll was not what she expected.Yes it was Medal Day!!!No doubt about you Billy no wonder your the richest man in Culburra. It was a good day for Culburra as Mick Martin took out B Grade with 39 pts.Mick is our sponsor of the 17th Hole [Ball Accumulater] from Culburra Kitchens and Bathrooms, has been taking a bit of a pounding lately first by Kirk Brown followed up by Brian Herrings Hole in one.

The Summer-Winter consistency Award has now concluded and the winner will be announced on Presentation Night.

On a sad note the Club lost 3 original Members in April all good blokes,Bernie Schipp,Gary Young and Brian Wassell. To their Families our sincere condolences they will be sorely missed.

Cant help but notice each week how very little movement there is on the Handicap Member Details each week.Unless you go very, very bad or very, very good over a number of games you practically stay the same even though you” shoot the lights out” for a game or 2 you will find not much movement. The sooner in my opinion this system is given the flick the better off we’ll be.Its a “Sandbagers’ delight!!20151219_075427Couple of future Champions in the Making
